Common Rabbit Vocab
**Will: what is the html code for italics & underline here?**
Add commonly-used rabbit vocab here as you see fit. Perhaps not the overly obviously, but if you'd be teaching a newbie. Or perhaps, newly made terms that RabbitWeb forum generates.

-Day 28: 4 weeks after breeding, this is when you put the "nestbox" in
-Nestbox: wooden or (perferably, for bacteria control) metal nestbox.
-Nestbox material: hay and/or woodchips. Some line the box bottom with removable cardboard ontop of the wood/metal bottom. After "kindling", the cardboard absorbs most of the fluids. You remove the carboard for sanitary reasons.
-Kindling: the process of giving birth.

-BOB: Best of Breed (ND, AFL, FG, ML, etc.)
-BOS: Best Opposite Sex of Breed
-BOV: Best of Variety (Variety denotes colour/pattern; Chocolate, Orange, Red, Castor, Smoke Pearl, etc.)
-BOSV: Best Opposite Sex of Variety
-BOG: Best of Group (Self, Broken, AOV, Wide Band, etc.)
-BOSG: Best Opposite Sex of Group
Show Lingo:
-table secretary: the person behind the table in charge of taking notes on comment cards of what the judge says about each animal. also in charge of keeping the control sheets accurate.
-table superintendant/ramrod: person in charge of laying out classes and making sure all animals are up to the table for the judge to review.
-control sheets: a sheet listing all animals in the class, so that the table secretary can record placings, special awards, and reasons for disqualification.
-show secretary: the person in charge of taking all entries and organizing the paperwork. after the show they also are responsible for sending show reports to all the various clubs and reports to the exhibitors as well as any legs won.
-show superintendant: person who determines which breeds are shown under which judge. also in charge of the showroom in general.
-legs: a leg is won if a rabbit wins its class, bov, bosv, bog, bosg, bos, bob or bis and wins over 5 or more rabbits being owned by 3 or more exhibitors.
-grand championship: a grand championship is earned by a rabbit who has won 3 or more legs and is registered with the arba.
-registration: a certificate issued by the arba, showing that a rabbit has passed inspection which includes that the rabbit meets or exceeds all senior requirements is 6 months or older and is free of disqualifications (at the time of registration).
